angry face girl

A few conveniently timed photos from the past few days when I've been wearing cool things.
Another charity shop shirt from Salvation Army:
Best new blazer, and a very ruffled shirt, both from shops in Knaresborough:
A close up of the shirt, and my distressed face. It was sunning in my eyes, I dunno.
Finished my typography essay, yay! Now all that's left of second year is one exam. Keraaaazzy.

old things

HAAHAAAA I look like such a fool sorry. Here's another charity shop classic shirt, Salvation Army WHAT a babe seriously I went in there and found like a million things in 5 minutes.
I also got these chelseyesque boots off eBay, which I actually bought from an equestrian store. Apparently they're jodhpur boots. I can't stop wearing them.

Oh yeah and I generously acquired those sunglasses from my good friend Jess. I often look like a blind man but it's all good.

Had a really good couple of weekends, with friends visiting me and making Durham funsies, and then training down to Cheshire to visit Proward in his homeland. I visited the aquarium and overcame my fears! It was awesome.

As promised, my other finds from the Salvation Army.
1. Midi kilt/skirt thing.

2. Maxxxxxxi trench coat/mac thing.

Do I look like a flasher and/or old person? Hope so.

new jacket

Salvation Army for life.

This lovely guy from the Durham branch, but also got some absolute gems from the one in Peterlee too. No doubt they will make an appearance soon.

Back in Durham for the night, trying to scrounge euros/plug adapters/travel toiletries for Florence! I mean I totally thought I was going on Wednesday and not Tuesday next week. Gaaaaah.

devil got my woman

I wasn't even going to go out tonight, but decided on a lil excursion to the Shed. Only been once before, probably around this time last year actually. Weird. Has cheap cocktails apparently though. I'm probably a bit overdressed, but I was inspired by the vintagey bluesy music I was listening to whilst getting ready. And I've never actually worn this shirt (typical amazing guy from Salvation Army) as a top, so.

Also, here's that necklace I got on the Urban Outfitters 20% off night. I loves it, gold, chunky, weighs me down, perfect!

Sorry but I like being grainy alright.

18 August 2010

Had a good haul from the Salvation Army yesterday, one of which was this lovely 100% silk shirt, which looks remarkably like something from American Apparel, but was only £1.25. Oh. Baby.

Also got the lovely chunky gold chain from there, and the rings from Ding Dong Vintage.

No doubt will be showing you more of my charity shop finds soon, but they're all in the wash atm.

Going to Leeds tomorrow to see Mitchell. I am not going to go anywhere near my house, it's making me physically sick right now.

P.s. sorry about the grain-factor Photo Booth pics, my camera batteries are charging.
